The party! Join us for a larger than life colour party surrounded by inflatable Monsters and clouds of colourful powder as our DJ keeps you moving! You do not need to do the 5k event to participate in the festival!

Monster 5k
Tickets $39.99 -$49.99
No age limit. Kids 5 and under are free and do not need to register. There will be 2.5k option.
Take part in a 5k event that is suitable for all fitness levels. Run- Walk and play as you journey through 5k of inflatable Monsters colour stations and bubbles stations.

Family Fun
Everyone's welcome at the Colour Monster 5K - there is no minimum or maximum age limit. Kids 5 and under are free and do not need to register. All kids 8 and under must be accompanied by paid adult.
Wheelchairs and strollers are permitted on the course.
Participation packages are available online and on site for $20
Walk, run or dance!
Take on the coures the way you choose. This event is not a timed run. So if you wish to walk or run it is up to you.
Our courses are 5k over various types of turan. Some locations will have a 2.5k option. Roads, pathways, gravel, grass and more. Each location is different please keep this in mind if you choose to use push chairs.
Festive Activetys!
Colour party! After the run keep moving at the colour festival. Music - dancing and launching of colourful powder in the air. Entry into the festival aria will start at 10:00am

Every Monster Colour 5k is organized in partnership with a local charity.
Have fun and make every step count by raising needed funds for a local group!
Edmonton Event Guide
Race Kit Pick Up
We will not be having race pick up before the event. We have decided to double the number of people at the registration table the day of the event to make sure that the line move quickly.
We do not ship kits.

Event Location and start times.
Monster Colour 5k will be held on Saturday, Sept 14th, starting wave begins at 9am and the following wave starts every 10 min.
Location: Rundle Park. 2909 113 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5W 0P3 The run will start and finish by the baseball diamond!

Parking And Directions
Parking is free in and around Rundle Park but is limited and is first come first serve.

Running With Children
Participants who are 8 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult (18+). All participants must have a festival ticket to take part in this event. Kids 5 and under do not need to register for 5k or 10k ticket to do the run. Kids 5 and under will not receive mandilion and colour packs unless they perches kids pack for $20. Wheelchairs, strollers and pushchairs are permitted on course however please note that the terrain on the course may vary. (Hills, roads, pathways, grass, unpaved trails). Each city will have a unique course as no two locations will be the same.

Safety First
Faster runners please keep to the left when running. Participants that are walking and with strollers, etc keep to the right. If running with small children it is a good idea to hold children's hands as you go through the colour stations. Please at all times have your race wrist band on as this is how we know you're a participant in the run. If you need assistance on the course look for race volunteers and ask for assistance.

EVENT DAY INFORMATION
The Charity hosting the event will send you an event information pack to your email a couple of weeks before the big day. But here’s a bit more information to help you plan your day.
On the day...
Get there in plenty of time so that you can soak up the colourful atmosphere! There will be merchandise stalls so you can put the finishing touches to your outfit, plus other entertainment.
Before the run…
Our MC will have you playing games and getting warmed up ready for the main event. The warm-up will include some simple moves to get everyone going.
On the course…
Run, jog, walk, dance around the course and through each of our coloured Monster Stations: There will be four colourful powder, bubbles and music at various station through out the course.
At the finish…
Celebrate with your fellow Monster Runners at the colour festival and make sure you take plenty of Selfie to make colourfull memories.
After the event…
